Director General of AGEPI visits HIPO

On 25 April 2024 a Memorandum of Understanding between the State Agency on Intellectual Property of Moldova (AGEPI) and the Hungarian Intellectual Property Office (HIPO) was signed. Mr Szabolcs Farkas, President of HIPO had the honour to host the Director General of AGEPI, Mr Eugeniu Rusu and the ambassador of the Republic of Moldova in Budapest, Mr Oleg Țulea. On this occasion the parties overviewed the latest developments of both offices and exchanged their experiences in several issues related to IP, with special regard to awareness raising and office documentation workflow.

The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to establish a basis for effective cooperation between AGEPI and HIPO, in order to promote and protect intellectual property rights in the Republic of Moldova and Hungary. The parties intend to cooperate in areas related to the protection, use and transfer of intellectual property rights.
